Sowena House is a grade II* listed fishermans cottage that sits within the buildings that comprise the renowned St Ives Painting School.
There are bedroom views over Porthmeor surfing beach. The beach, harbour and Tate Gallery are all just a minute away. Sowena House is in a central Downalong location with parking provision for two cars within a 5 minute walk.
See Norway Square just opposite Sowena House. A lovely area to sit and contemplate the day ahead.
Sowena House has a wonderful kitchen / dining area that forms the natural focus point for the family.
There is a wall mounted TV with iPod docking station.
There is also a separate lounge with twin leather sofas and gas fire for those cosy evenings.
First floor:
Family bathroom with bath/ shower and chrome heated towel rail. Separate half landing cloakroom.
Also 2 x double with one ensuite shower room.

Lower Ground Floor
Bedroom 4 / Den
This area is arranged on two levels and is full of character with stairs and low beams.
It provides a high gloss black kitchen with electric over/hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. On this level there is a shower/wet room with stone mosaic tiles and toilet.
On the raised level there is an open plan living area with a king-size bed and attractive bed linen flat screen TV and bedside lamps. There are also storage drawers and a leather sofa bed that could accommodate a small child. The leather sofa provides comfy seating to view the wall mounted TV.
